On duty with security: How security guards work for clubs and authorities

Attention, control! Security services have become an indispensable part of clubs, beer tents and large events such as festivals. They are also used in front of some offices and authorities such as the Stuttgart immigration office to organize the rush of people and ensure that everything runs smoothly. What is often underestimated: Security guards and bouncers often need less muscle in their duties and more communication skills and empathy. Nevertheless, they have to take action again and again – even physically.
